The Clementine dress by Amelie and Atticus is a beautiful, simple dress with a vintage look. I jumped at the chance to participate in the sew-a-long for the Clementine dress.
As we are heading into Autumn here in Australia, my daughter needed a pinafore type dress she could layer with long sleeves and tights, to keep warm. I had been hoarding this piece of fine cord Sevenberry fabric for some time. I purchased it in a de-stash off an Instagram friend and was waiting for the perfect project. The Clementine dress is great for showcasing a bold fabric pattern and the colours really pop set against the white collar.
The construction is straight forward with facings to bodice and buttons for back closure. The collar is cute and nice and wide. This dress is a quick sew with amazing results.
My daughter loves her Clementine dress so much she wore it all weekend. Its had a wash and ready for Easter dress duty!
